Curved at the edges for a fresh new look, the handset is supposed to offer improved in-hand feeling. With the imbedded camera that looks like a natural fit, slimmer bezels, the loss of weight and the slimmer body, the GIONEE ELIFE S5.1 is already looking elegant in the only area where its predecessor was open to criticism.
The ELIFE S5.1 is built with durable magnesium alloy metal rim; both the back and front have Gorilla Glass protection against scratches; ultimately creating a combination of hardness and softness to bring maximum protection to the device, so it doesn't bend in your jeans pocket. The design is clean and simple, no extra lines like iPhone 6 or unnecessary decoration in the back cover.
According to Gionee's Head of Design, mobile device ergonomics is an important part of considerations when designing a device.
