Following last season's successful partnership with Todd Snyder, G-SHOCK's most sophisticated and prestigious timepiece collection, MT-G:  Metal Twisted G-SHOCK was showcased for SS15 alongside the stunning and applauded collection of widely respected menswear designer Robert Geller.  Held at The Chelsea Piers on September 6(th), the latest releases within the MT-G line were on display backstage and featured in 12 looks on the runway.

G-SHOCK's launch into the high fashion women's market was initiated with an advertising campaign featuring Josephine Scriver, developed by Berger & Wild and photographed by Maciek Kobielski.  To solidify their position within contemporary women's fashion and support the fashion community of New York, G-SHOCK S Series partnered with top women's wear designer's TOME, Timo Weiland, Jonathan Simkhai and Nicholas K.

Nicholas K's Moroccan inspired collection was showcased at Lincoln Center - The Pavilion on Thursday September 4th, and was the first presentation of New York Fashion Week.  Watches were seamlessly integrated into 12 looks during the show and received rave reviews from WWD, Style.com, Elle and more.  An exclusive interview with Marie Claire magazine spoke to the collaboration and brand synergies.

The TOME show followed the same day at Lincoln Center - The Pavilion. Designers Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin looked to Calcutta and to photographer Dayanita Singh, who makes her powerful images of women and families in the city as inspiration. The watches sat perfectly alongside metallics, knife pleating, and loose silhouettes. Notables at the TOME presentation included Miriam and Olivia Nervo, The Glamourai's Kelly Framel, Sandra Bernhard and Tyson Beckford.

The Jonathan Simkhai presentation was held on Saturday September 6(th) at MILK Studios, bringing out the who's who in fashion - media and influencers. The S Series collection was a perfect juxtaposition against a blush, blue, black and white graphic collection.  Simkhai's look is a perfect match for the new G-SHOCK offering- grounded in sportif details, which have been prevalent since his first collection. Notable guests in attendance included jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher, Leandra Medine of Man Repeller, Susie Lau of Style Bubble, and DJ May Kwok.

Timo Weiland's SS15 presentation was the second presentation this season, following their men's collection, presented the week prior. The S Series collection was displayed against robe-like trenches, chiffon pajama tops, and pleated silk charmeuse skirts.  G-SHOCK S Series also celebrated with the brand at an electric afterparty at the Westway in Chelsea, New York.  Notables at the Timo Weiland presentation at MILK on Tuesday, September 9th included Zanna Roberts Rassi, Danielle and Jodie Snyder and Waris Ahluwalia.

To close out New York Fashion Week on September 11th, G-SHOCK S Series partnered with The Last Magazine to host the most anticipated dinner and after-party event of the season at Acme, New York City. Attendees included Richard Chai, Constance Jablonski, Joe Jonas, Tao Okamoto, Scout Willis, Saskia de Brauw, Johan Lindeberg, Anja Rubik, Gigi Hadid, Elin Kling, Ladyfag and Jacquelyn Jablonski.

The MT-G, Metal Twisted G-SHOCK timepiece is available at select premium retailers, the G-SHOCK NYC Soho store and http://www.gshock.com.  Prices range from $900 - $1,000.

The S Series is available at Nordstroms, Macy's and select department stores, as well as G-SHOCK Soho NYC store, and online. Prices range from $99 to $130.

About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure.
