Compact video inspection camera from RS Components enables faulty equipment diagnosis and accurate inspection in hard to reach locations
BEIJING, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RS Components <http://china.rs-online.com/web> (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc <http://www.electrocomponents.com/> (LSE: ECM), the global distributor for engineers, has announced availability of a new RS branded professional-quality digital camera that enables electricians and maintenance professionals to quickly achieve high-accuracy inspections in difficult to reach locations to check equipment and cables for corrosion, leaks, damage, broken parts or blockages.

In addition to its SD-card interface, the camera can also store videos and images without a memory card as it integrates its own internal memory that has the capacity for approximately 200 photos and for recording more than 60 seconds of video. The device also includes an A/V output and a USB port for the easy transfer of photos and recordings to other devices.
Ergonomically designed, the camera is simple to use and features a jog switch and trigger key for easy control. The product is also designed for single-handed operation (left- or right-handed), thereby leaving a free hand to guide the probe camera. Product accessories include attachments such as a mirror, hook and magnet.
Completely handheld and designed for remote use, the camera is powered by 3 x 1.5V AA alkaline or 3 x 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries.
