Geek Squad to service and protect Future Shop clients starting August 1
BURNABY, BC, July 31, 2014 /CNW/ - A new partnership has been formed between Geek Squad and Future Shop, Canada's leading Consumer Electronics retailer. On Friday, August 1, 2014, Future Shop, welcomes the arrival of Geek Squad across all its 135 stores and via Futureshop.ca. Geek Squad is North America's top task force dedicated to solving the world's technology challenges.
"Geek Squad is a highly recognized and trusted brand and we're thrilled to expand and strengthen our network through Future Shop," said Chris Sallans, director of Geek Squad Canada. "We've built-up our business with Canadians for the past 10 years and we will offer all our services across Future Shop, in-store and online."
Future Shop will offer the complete suite of Geek Squad's signature services Canadians rely on to troubleshoot and defeat technological evil, viewable at http://www.geeksquad.ca.
Geek Squad Protection available at Future Shop
Also beginning August 1, Geek Squad Protection rolls out to Future Shop. These plans provide clients the assurance that help is readily available to setup, protect and support technology through Geek Squad. The plans cover all products sold at Future Shop, including computing, home theatre, and mobile phones.
Through the partnership with Future Shop, Geek Squad's task force in Canada grows to 1,400 technicians.
