Developed in San Francisco by Kabam's Phoenix Age studio, Underworld Empire is a social role-playing game (RPG) that takes players into New Metropolis, a crime filled realm where they will need to earn respect and money through defeating enemies and recruiting allies to reign over the most powerful empire.

Underworld Empire takes players on a journey to exact vengeance for their father's murder, where strategic thinking and alliances are critical in the pursuit of underworld domination. Players can align against their choice of ruthless criminal empires including The Cartel, Syndicate, Mafia, and Street Gangs. Defeating adversaries and powerful bosses grants access to threatening weapons and assault vehicles which players can use to annihilate other players to reclaim their empire. With integrated social features including a real-time boss battle leaderboard, players will compete together and against each other in an epic battle to rule the underworld. Game features include:
