ALYT Exceeds Indiegogo Campaign Goal of $100,000

New Smart Home Management Device to Become Generally Available this Fall; See Prototype at Internet of Things World June 17-18

LOS ANGELES, June 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Link Your Things, Inc., makers of ALYT, the first Android-based, do-it-yourself (DIY) smart home management platform, today announced that they have exceeded their $100,000 crowdfunding goal on Indiegogo. With close to $116,000 secured from the campaign, which ended June 7, they will be accepting pre-orders at their website, http://www.alyt.com. By November 2014, ALYT will become generally available, both as a standalone device and as part of a home automation/security service. Beta versions will also begin shipping to early funders this summer.

"As the demand for platforms to manage connected devices heats up, we're gratified to galvanize support from consumers, developers, and strategic partners. We believe that our ease of use, comprehensive functionality, and ALYT Store model are differentiating ALYT, and helping us to address previously unmet market needs," said Luca Gaetano Capula, Founder and CEO of Link Your Things.

ALYT is a unique wireless kit that enables consumers to easily manage their home security, energy use, entertainment systems, and home automation through their Android or iOS smartphones and tablets. The device's key differentiators include:

    --  State-of-the-art home security
--  Seamless operations and video verification during power or
        communications failures
    --  Exceptional connectivity through Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, ZigBee,
        3.5G Cellular, Infrared and DLNA.
--  Easy setup in a matter of minutes
Individuals who have registered for Internet of Things World, June 17-18, 2014, Palo Alto, Calif., will be able to preview the device. Link Your Things will be exhibiting and demonstrating the first working prototype of ALYT.

ALYT also enables developers to profit from the global market for the Internet of Things, which will reach $7.1 trillion by 2020, according to IDC. ALYT's open-source platform makes it easy for them to create ALYT apps, and then sell them through an ALYT Store that Link Your Things will soon open.
