Higher bandwidth enables increased transfer capacity
RIDGEFIELD, Conn., April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Owl Computing Technologies, Inc., a network security solutions provider, is proud to announce the launch of its next generation hardware for secure data transfer, the OPDS 1000.
The OPDS 1000 allows for transfer speeds up to 1 gigabit (125MB) per second and is fully compatible with the Owl multi-purpose software applications for ease of upgrade.
The OPDS family of Owl network security solutions supports multiple data types & formats concurrently across a single compact, rack-mountable 1U (1.75" high) chassis that integrates Owl-proprietary DualDiode Technology®, a proprietary data diode.
OPDS supports all major industrial database historian interfaces for the timely & resilient replication of time-series tags, events, & alerts to external business and engineering networks. SCADA telemetry, Modbus PLC secure data transfer, & OPC Compliant interfaces are supported. OPDS offers a full suite of file transfer options -- from batch formats through file transfer employing secure, encrypted TCP/IP. Owl's Virtualscreen View Service is operator initiated for continuous presentation of process control HMI view for system diagnostics & monitoring an external party such as an equipment vendor.
