Danlaw Launches OBDII Device with Texas Instruments SimpleLink(TM) Bluetooth® CC2564 solution

NOVI, Mich., April 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Danlaw Inc., announces their next generation OBDII telematics device which gains its Bluetooth® capability from the Texas Instruments (TI) SimpleLink(TM) Bluetooth CC2564 solution. The Bluetooth/ Bluetooth low energy dual mode capability introduced in the next-generation DataLogger telematics device is just one of the new features available in the DL 8-series. The DL 8-series DataLogger also supports a broader range of wireless communication by adding 3G UMTS/HSPS and 2G CDMA 1xRTT compatibility. TI's SimpleLink CC2564 device provides best-in-class range and supports Bluetooth 4.0 dual mode capabilities which is a great fit for the automotive industry because it enables connectivity to a variety of Bluetooth/Bluetooth low energy-based devices.
