Brother International Corporation Launches Connect.Print.Share Website, Showcasing Information Sharing Solutions for Mobile Device and Web Users

Website demonstrates printing and scanning with mobile devices, connectivity to popular third-party online services, plus innovative cloud-based Brother(TM) apps installed on select machines.

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Brother International Corporation, today announced the launch of its all-new Connect.Print.Share website. With the results of the 2014 Brother Small Business Survey indicating that 63% of respondents feel overwhelmed by new technologies, including new software, mobile apps, and cloud computing all of the time or some of the time, it's an opportune time to launch the website. The Connect.Print.Share website makes it easier than ever to explore the mobile device and cloud features that help users connect, print and share important information using Brother Printers, All-in-Ones, Scanners, and Label Printers.

Compatibility with Leading Mobile Platforms
In the 2014 Brother Small Business Survey, 41% of respondents named mobile technologies, including smartphones and tablets, "necessary to run their business." Anticipating this figure to grow, Brother is developing products that integrate with leading mobile platforms, including Apple® iOS, Android(TM), Windows® Phone, and Blackberry® devices. The Connect.Print.Share website outlines the ease and benefits of using the Brother(TM) iPrint&Scan and Brother(TM) iPrint&Label mobile applications, as well as other third-party solutions to print from and scan to mobile devices(1).

Direct Access to Popular Cloud Services
Many businesses have transitioned to cloud-based solutions, and Brother is creating new ways to print from and scan to online services directly from internet-connected Brother devices, without using a computer(2). The Connect.Print.Share website shows how the Web Connect touchscreen interface found on many Brother All-in-Ones and Scanners can connect directly to BR-Docs, a Brother document management service, as well as other popular cloud services including Dropbox, Google Drive(TM), OneDrive, Box, and more.

Exclusive Cloud-based Applications
The Connect.Print.Share website also details the capabilities of the new suite of free Brother Cloud Apps. These exclusive cloud-based applications give users of select Brother devices exciting, innovative ways to capture and convert information directly from their machine, as well as on-demand printing of commonly-used business documents from the Brother CreativeCenter(4).

"The Connect.Print.Share website shows our commitment to providing smart, easy-to-use solutions to manage information using mobile and cloud technology," said John Wandishin, Brother Vice President of Marketing. "With a growing number of businesses integrating rapidly-evolving technologies into their workflow, we believe highlighting the cutting-edge capabilities of our products to potential customers as well as current Brother users to be more important than ever before."
