Socket Store Has a New Site for Sore Eyes!

CARDIFF, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Sockets and switches specialist Socket Store has a new-look website, including a
mobile version for easier use for customers on the move.

The sockets, switches and lamps retailer has refreshed its existing website to keep
the appearance contemporary and to reflect the rapidly increasing range of stock it
carries. And the new site coincides with a move to bigger premises for the Socket Store
team, as part of an ongoing commitment to delivering a quality service for new and
existing customers.

The new website at http://www.socketstore.co.uk now fully showcases the retailer's
extensive lighting range, including downlights, wall lights, ceiling lights, table lamps,
floor lamps, touch lamps and outdoor lighting. Socket Store also has a large variety of
sockets and switches in finishes including chrome, brass, stainless steel, white, black
and nickel, as well as energy-saving LED bulbs and commercial parts. Also available are
essential spares such as extra long screws, dimmer modules and replacement bezels and, if
you want something completely different, take a look at the sculpture range, which will
brighten your home as much as the light bulbs!

Socket Store managing director Phil Stephens said: "We are proud of our new website as
it allows us to showcase even more of our fantastic products. Its appearance is sleeker
and extremely contemporary, and our mobile version means that our customers can see the
products they need in the format that suits them best.

"The website also contains a lot of helpful advice for customers, from explaining how
dimmers work to the differences between the various types of light bulbs on the market. So
read our blog, have a browse through more than 5,000 items and keep an eye on our featured
products, which we update regularly."

Socket Store launched in 2010 as an online-only retailer. Successful expansion led to
the opening of a small showroom earlier this year, and ongoing growth now sees the company
move from its Taffs Well location to bigger premises in nearby Trefforest Industrial
Estate.

As well as continuing to stock the ever-popular Windsor range, Socket Store has also
added the stunning DAR Lighting range to its portfolio. As ever, staff welcome enquiries
on all energy-related subjects and are happy to advise customers on the most suitable and
cost-effective lights and lamps for their homes and businesses, as well as offering a
30-day returns policy.
