VisualOn powers TVB.COM's mobile apps, GOTV and myTV on the Android platform. By integrating VisualOn's OnStream MediaPlayer+, a solution supporting high-quality playback across any connected device, TVB.COM can now provide its Hong Kong customers with video streaming on-the-go.
Global mobile video consumption and mobile device fragmentation - particularly on the Android platform - continues to grow rapidly. According to OpenSignal, there are nearly 12,000 distinct device models on the market, all with varying hardware capabilities, streaming protocols and formats. VisualOn's OnStream MediaPlayer+ allows TVB.COM to overcome this challenge by effectively scaling its solution to deliver media across any device.
