Gionee Brings the World's Slimmest Smartphone to MWC2014
BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Mobile World Congress -- Gionee, the leading global designer and manufacturer of mobile devices, brings the world's slimmest smartphone ELIFE S5.5, which is only 5.5mm thick, to this year's mobile world congress.

It is not just about the slim design; the performance is not compromised in the ELIFE S5.5. The ELIFE S5.5 is equipped with a stunning 5.0 inch Full HD Super AMOLED plus screen, a true Octa-core 1.7GHz processor, a 13 megapixel rear camera and the world's first 95 degree ultra-wide angle 5 megapixel front camera. With the 95 degree wide angle front camera, taking self-group shots or full body selfies is easier than ever before.
High power consumption has always been a problem for ultra slim phones. The ELIFE S5.5's battery is powerful as well. The highest capacity density ratio allows S5.5's battery to reach 2300mAh, and with the next upgrade, battery capacity is increased up to 2450mAh.
Gionee's flagship model ELIFE E7 launched in December last year is also available at Gionee's booth; as one of the best Android camera phones, ELIFE E7 boats of two titles -- the first manufacturer to have an auto focus 16MP rear plus 8MP front camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8974AC chipset with 2.5GHz.
