Sisvel To Launch New License Program Based On DSL Standard Essential Patents From Panasonic

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sisvel International S.A. ("Sisvel") announced today the launch of a new licensing program for patents acquired from Panasonic System Networks Co., Ltd., a division of Panasonic Corporation, and which are essential to DSL technology standards; specifically the G.994.1 standard, which relates to handshake procedures for digital subscriber line (DSL) transceivers.

Licenses under these patents will be offered on reasonable, and non-discriminatory, or RAND, conditions.
