Looxcie Launches New Social, Ultra-Wearable Video Cam, Looxcie 3
New form factor, robust video streaming plus photo capture give users greater flexibility for wearing and sharing at a price of $99.99.
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Looxcie, Inc., makers of the first hands-free live streaming mobile-connected video cam, announced today their newest product, the Looxcie 3. Designed for a more social and easy to wear experience, Looxcie 3 sports a lightweight design, but is a heavyweight in the features department, offering a multitude of capture and share options for both video and photos. When paired over Wi-Fi with the Looxcie companion app, users can live stream video directly to their friends and family or to their Facebook wall via the Looxcie Facebook App. The Looxcie companion app is free and is available for download from the Google Play or iTunes App Store.

Taking advantage of the lens' wide 100 degree field of view, available accessories make it easy to clip, hang or mount the video cam to a shirt, from a necklace or to a backpack. Vibrant color covers are also available to add a splash of personality and doubles as a protective layer. If users need a more rugged cover solution they can choose the rugged waterproof case, which is IPX-8 rated and usable in water up to 60 meters deep, perfect to keep the video cam safe when snorkeling or conquering a sand dune in a 4x4.
Looxcie 3 is available starting at $99.99 for the camera. For $149.99, the Looxcie 3 social pack comes with eight accessories: the rotating social clip, two color covers, two lanyards, universal stand with sticky pad, ball cap clip and tripod mount.
