BORDENTOWN, N.J., Nov. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeos Global LLC, a New Jersey-based company, announces the release of their newest product, Zeos Glassy, a high-end glass screen protector for digital devices. It's the world's first screen protector for SmartPhones, iPads/tablets and digital cameras made from Corning(TM) Gorilla(TM) glass. The product is ready to ship in December, but preordering is available through Indiegogo at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-world-s-best-screen-protector-for-smartphones-ipads-tablets-and-cameras. The Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign will help Zeos Glassy to create eye-catching package and meet the factory's minimum order quantity for the first run. They have gotten this far on their own and are hoping to get a tiny push over the top.
"We saw a gap in the market, where most of the market share is taken by $1 to $5 cheap PET/film screen protectors. But what does a thick plastic film really protect? My $600 smart phone screen costs upwards of $150 to fix if the screen cracks or breaks. So we thought, 'How about making a screen protector made of the same material used to make screens by most popular smart phone and tablet manufacturers - Corning(TM) Gorilla(TM) glass?' Zeos Glassy is made with tough ultra-thin Corning(TM) Gorilla(TM) glass, so the look and feel is the same as the manufacturer intended. It's so hard that even steel can't scratch it. Due to the nature of this chemically altered glass, it is has an almost 100% transparency rate.
"We used a high quality acrylic optical adhesive, an anti-shatter film, anti-fingerprint coating, anti-static layer and a special silicone to make this a state-of-the-art product. Putting it on is a breeze, for a totally bubble free installation. You can also re-seat it if it's not aligned right.
