The hand-held, battery-operated SmartCan(TM) is an innovative universal O-level test set for 4(th) and 5(th) generation fighter aircraft that delivers unrivaled test capabilities to bridge the Armament Test Gap that exists with legacy test equipment. Providing smart weapons emulation of JDAM and AIM-120, offering audio and video test capabilities, and featuring more than 30 measurement channels, the SmartCan(TM) allows maintainers to test all legacy and smart (MIL-STD 1760) weapons systems.
The MTS-209 is an Intermediate-Level Common Armament Test Set (CATS) capable of testing Alternate Mission Equipment (AME) including launchers, pylons, bomb racks, and their major subassemblies when removed from the aircraft. The flightline-qualified MTS-209 is portable and supports both legacy and smart AME.
A state-of-the-art target simulator, the MTS-916-3 replaces multiple obsolete target simulators for AGM-65 Maverick missiles and guidance sections. Used in conjunction with the state-of-the-art MTS-206 and the legacy AN/DSM-157, the MTS 916-3 delivers high reliability, offers a small footprint, and features better automation than the simulator it replaces.
