The newest product in the API T-Ray® family, the T-Gauge® system, is robust, fast and easy to implement. The T-Gauge(®) system can be used in industrial settings for online process and quality control. The system is capable of measuring physical properties of products such as multi-layer thickness, basis weight, moisture content, subsurface defect detection, delamination detection. Our innovative instruments are non-destructive, non-contact, safe and are designed to increase productivity, accuracy and reduce material usage.

"This is a major milestone for API and our customers," said API CEO Richard Kurtz. "With the UL Mark we are raising the bar on industrial terahertz systems to a new level. This instills confidence in the durability, reliability and safety of our T-Gauge(®) system. Our CE approval is still pending, but we expect to receive that approval before the end of this calendar year. We look forward to greater acceptance of our nondestructive quality control systems through the strength of our UL certification."
