The new 25-kW(1) home standby generator is powered by an automotive-style, dependable engine that delivers quality power to sensitive appliances and electronics such as computers, in addition to powering a home's larger electrical needs, including electric stoves and air conditioning units.
The unit's user-friendly control panel has a scrolling LED display for easy-to-read information and troubleshooting. With added accessories such as InfoHub(TM), a wireless generator monitor that communicates with your computer, smartphone, tablet or our Basic Wireless Monitor, it is easy to know how your standby generator is performing whether you are home or away.
Custom power solutions are available to automatically manage power to household appliances and prevent generator overload. The Load Control Center, a patented power management technology exclusive to Briggs & Stratton, allows a unit to manage power to multiple high-wattage appliances while powering all of the essentials, such as lights or the refrigerator. This generator can even power homes with two air conditioners so homeowners can comfortably live through a power outage.
The unit's commercial-grade enclosure is made of automotive-grade, corrosion-resistant galvanneal steel. It features a hinged roof that has gas springs for easy opening, while strategically placed ventilation pushes exhaust up and away from the home and surrounding landscaping. Removable front and back panels make access easy and maintenance faster.
