BetAmerica Launches FanEx Games And The Twitter Game

Real Money Daily Fantasy Games Website Expands Platform to Offer Fun and Easy Pop Culture Contests

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on the successful launch of FanEx Sports, a hub for daily fantasy sports contests, BetAmerica.com announces the launch of FanEx Games, an online destination for fun and easy pop culture-themed, real-money daily fantasy competitions.

The company's first contest on FanEx Games is The Twitter Game, a social media-focused challenge where fans predict which celebrities they think will tweet the most throughout a given day for a chance to win real money. For each tweet by popular celebrities within a 24-hour period, fans earn points towards cash prizes. To play, fans simply select one of the dozens of Twitter games starting every hour, with entry fees ranging from free to $500, and choose from a variety of celebrity tweeters, including Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Justin Bieber and more. Celebrities are divided into five tiers based on their average Tweets per day and players select one celebrity from each group.  Once fans have selected a team of five celebrity tweeters, they can track their team's progress on the live scoring system.

"Pop culture and celebrity entertainment are a completely untapped opportunity within the online gaming and daily fantasy industry," said John Ford, Chief Executive Officer for BAM Software, which powers BetAmerica.com. "With the launch of FanEx Sports, we demonstrated that anyone could enjoy fun and easy daily fantasy sports games. We've taken that same philosophy and applied it to pop culture and social media - and created the unique and innovative Twitter Game."

With the launch of The Twitter Game, BetAmerica continues its mission of creating fun and easy daily fantasy games that appeal to wider audiences than most daily fantasy websites. The company also becomes the first legal, multi-vertical, real money gaming site in the U.S. to offer online horse and greyhound betting, and fun and easy-to-play daily fantasy sports and pop culture games.

Over the last month, BetAmerica has also brought a much-needed level of confidence into an emerging, yet apprehensive industry. As a trusted brand that's paid out over $100 million to customers since 2007, the site recently announced a deal with Fantazzle, a shuttered daily fantasy sports website, to match hundreds of lost player balances. The company also verifies the identity of all players on its website, ensuring the maximum security for all users. All deposits are safe and held in segregated accounts.
