The Xilinx Zynq-7000 combines the benefits of an ARM® Cortex(TM)-A9 processor based system-on-chip (SoC) with the flexibility and scalability of a field programmable gate array (FPGA). Xilinx Zynq designs can now benefit from the verification power of VTOS in design, production, and field deployment.
VTOS is an embedded software application targeted for a specified SoC. VTOS provides a verification platform with deterministic test results, low-level commands for full hardware access, built-in system-level tests, test case development and extensions via run-time scripting, FPGA programming, fast file transfers to the prototype, and both interactive and programmatic user interfaces. The VTOS Suite of tools are easy to install and easy to configure for your prototype, allowing designers to focus on discovering and correcting faults using a fast and lightweight verification toolset.
