To activate, users register a Sina Weibo account for the air conditioner, which is connected via its power line, then add the account to their Friends List (with scalability to all mobile instant messaging tools including WeChat). The user then initiates a dialogue with the account via Weibo private messages to check the temperature, humidity, and other conditions at home and issue smart commands which will be seamlessly delivered to and executed by the air conditioner.

This new smart product lineup is being launched by Hisense Group following the success of smart TVs and smart refrigerators. Dr. Wang Zhigang of Hisense said it is a landmark product that adopts Hisense's household Internet of Things technology. Mobile social technology is changing the lives of families at a faster pace than any of us could have ever imagined.
