KEF's V300 Dual-Speaker System Now Available: Transform A Simple Room With A Television Into A Hi-Fi Home Theatre

Simple Yet Sleek Design Of Entire V Series Pairs With KEF's 50+ Years Of Audio Expertise To Enhance The TV-Based Home Theatre Experience

MARLBORO, N.J., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- KEF, the renowned manufacturer of innovative, reference-quality loudspeakers, is pleased to announce that the KEF V300 dual-speaker home theatre audio system is now available for purchase at KEF Direct and a variety of authorized retailers. Unveiled earlier this year as part of the V Series (which includes the V720W and V700 Soundbar systems, coming in October), the V300 merges the elegant, slim styling, and high-quality construction KEF is famous for with state-of-the-art digital audio technology. KEF's proven results in achieving the highest possible audio fidelity is now only a simple connection away (via the included HDMI 1.4 cable) from enhancing the quality of your high-definition television experience. KEF's V300 is automatically controlled by your television's remote, saving you from yet another remote control to contend with. Multiple mounting options ensure simple, integrated installation that will seamlessly match your room's existing design.

The V300 system ($899.99 US MSRP) offers a traditional two speaker design, with an ultra-low profile that is ready for a variety of installations - whether flush-mounting to the wall or positioned atop desk stands (included). KEF Selecta-mount floor stands also available for the V300. Each speaker measures only 1.4 inches deep, yet features a pair of 4.5-inch, high performance, ultra-slim bass drivers, and a 1-inch vented aluminium tweeter with the classic KEF 'tangerine' waveguide. The included Class-D amplifier with on-board EQ is housed in a separate activation module that can be mounted to the rear of the television using a VESA mounting point and optional kit, or placed on a nearby table or cabinet. HDMI 1.4 connectivity provides easy control, and a built-in subwoofer jack enables the addition of any KEF subwoofer to provide even more bass.

The entire V Series line will be available to experience in-person during CEDIA 2013 in Denver, C.O. (September 26-28, 2013) at the KEF booth (#1108).
