Starpower Opens $3 Million Remodeled Flagship Showroom
DALLAS, Sept. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Starpower Home Entertainment Systems, Inc. ("Starpower") reveals its new concept to the public on Thursday, September 19(th). Grand Opening activities take place the entire month of September. This new concept offers shoppers interactive media rooms and live kitchens with electronics and appliances under one roof as well as access to StarFloors' store-to-door scheduling of appointments, exclusively at their North Dallas showroom.

Starpower, the largest custom installation company in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, with 35 install teams and its own fleet of vehicles, now also features 64 year old Ed Kellum & Son appliances inside the new North Dallas showroom. It is Ed Kellum's first expansion outside of Highland Park, Texas. The North Dallas Starpower showroom is the only Starpower location to feature Ed Kellum & Son appliances. This will be Starpower's first time selling Kellum appliances in a Starpower location since the acquisition in September 2011. Ed Kellum's Uptown store recently relocated to 4415 Central Expressway, south of Knox in Dallas.
The new 15,000 square foot Starpower showroom features a new 4 story LED entry tower. The showroom showcases electronics from names like Sony, Samsung, Epson, Bose, Martin Logan, Klipsch, and other top brands, as well as custom leather seating, automation and more. "Interactive media rooms and fully functioning kitchens will enhance the consumer experience," said David Pidgeon, CEO of Starpower. Appliances from Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Miele, Thermador, Jenn-Air, and KitchenAid are represented on the appliance side of the showroom. "This is a shopping experience different from any other store. The showroom represents over 64 years of appliance experience and 18 years of electronics experience under one roof. There is simply nothing else like it anywhere," says Daniel Pidgeon, Chairman of Starpower.
Activities during the first days of the Grand Opening, September 19(th)-22(nd), will include chefs from Viking and Thermador cooking in live kitchens, a Sony 4K event featuring an appearance from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and live radio remotes from various local radio stations. There will be a special promotional giveaway of a pair of platinum level tickets to a Dallas Mavericks' home game with any purchase of $1,500 or more.
The North Dallas Starpower showroom is located at 15340 Dallas Parkway #1000 Dallas, TX 75248. Grand Opening pricing will be offered at all Starpower locations, including North Dallas, Uptown, Southlake, and Scottsdale, Arizona.
