Siemens' First Overseas Digital Enterprise Opens Up at Chengdu High-Tech Zone
CHENGDU, China, Sept. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 11th, Siemens Electronics Works Chengdu (SEWC) at Chengdu High-tech Zone officially began operation. As the latest "digital enterprise" in Siemens' Industry Automation production and R&D network, SEWC is highly digitalized from product design to manufacturing. Meanwhile, "Simatic IPC 3000 SMART", a new generation of IPC series, tailor-made for Chinese customers, was put into mass production today. SEWC will produce Simatic industry automation products successively. Anton S.
