First U.S. Consumers Receive Delivery of OLED TV

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Aug. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MEDIA ADVISORY -- LG Electronics USA confirmed that the first OLED HDTVs sold in the United States have been delivered to consumers this week. Since it went on sale last week at Magnolia stores inside Best Buy, the 55-inch CURVED OLED TV from LG Electronics has been purchased by early-adopter consumers across the country, from Texas to Minnesota to Oregon.

As LG's exclusive OLED TV launch partner, Best Buy began selling the ENERGY STAR-certified LG CURVED OLED TV last week at its flagship Magnolia Design Center store in Richfield, Minn.  In the coming weeks, Magnolia stores inside Best Buy in Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago and San Antonio will be displaying and selling the ultra-thin new $14,999 premium LG OLED TV.
