SEH Announces Mac Support For myUTN Product Line
SEH releases a Mac OS X version of the UTN Manager software tool for the myUTN USB device server product range.
PHOENIXVILLE, Pa., Aug. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SEH Technology, the US subsidiary of German network specialist SEH Computertechnik GmbH, today announces the release of the Mac OS X version of its UTN Manager. This software tool makes SEH's myUTN USB device servers network-ready in Apple environments. Users install UTN Manager version 2.0.5 for Mac OS X to manage all myUTN USB device servers on a network. This software tool is now available as a free download from the SEH website.
SEH has developed the UTN Manager software tool to enable the UTN (USB-to-Network) function in clients and servers. Its purpose is to network-enable the use of USB devices such as laboratory instruments, gauges of all kinds, printers, scanners or USB software license keys. The UTN Manager provides users and administrators with both information and status of all myUTN device servers and their attached USB devices. It also provides the connection between a client and the requested USB device. In addition, the UTN Manager supports automating the utilization of USB devices in a network. The software tool is installed on all clients or servers which require USB device access. The UTN Manager has been available for Windows environments. With the new UTN Manager version for Mac OS X, Mac users can now also access all USB devices across the network.
