Neurotechnology Announces NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0 Biometric Time and Attendance Software

NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0 Now Includes Both Fingerprint and Facial Biometrics and Adds Client-Server Architecture to NCheck Time and Attendance Software

VILNIUS, Lithuania, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Neurotechnology, a provider of high-precision biometric identification technologies, today announced the release of NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0, an end-user biometric system designed to automate time and attendance control. NCheck uses biometric fingerprint and face identification to track the time and attendance of each user, automatically calculates summary time and generates printable reports. The flexibility of NCheck makes it suitable for use in a wide range of business applications, from employee time tracking to check-in at events, concerts, clubs, clinics, public and commercial facilities.

NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0 is an update to Neurotechnology's NCheck Finger Attendance system. The new NCheck features the addition of face recognition to the existing fingerprint capability, allowing for check-in and check-out using a basic web-cam. The new software also features client-server architecture, making it possible to connect multiple installations into a single system. It is backward compatible, supports the upgrading of existing NCheck Finger Attendance databases and uses the latest fingerprint and face identification algorithms from Neurotechnology.

"At the request of our customers, we have added client-server support to the latest version of our NCheck software," said Vaidas Didvalis, NCheck Project Manager for Neurotechnology. "Now NCheck is capable of serving more users across distributed locations. The addition of face recognition provides additional flexibility in how the software can be used," Didvalis added.

The software can be installed on a desktop computer or laptop (PC) running Microsoft Windows. It can also be used in kiosk systems that are based on PC hardware, mounted fingerprint scanners or web-cams and Windows OS.

The ability to enroll both facial and fingerprint biometric data in NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0 provides added flexibility for the customer and enables users to select the more convenient method for person identification. The ready-to-use biometric software has a user-friendly interface that supports web cams, IP cameras and more than ninety fingerprint scanner models. The fast-operating software is based on a reliable NIST MINEX-compliant fingerprint engine. A 30-day trial with full functionality is available for download and evaluation.

NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0 and the entire updated Neurotechnology biometric product line are available through Neurotechnology or from distributors worldwide. For more information, go to: http://www.neurotechnology.com.
