RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif., July 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Virtium, a leading provider of storage and memory solutions for industrial embedded systems, today announced its next-generation TuffDrive(TM) CompactFlash (CF) cards, which offer the industry's highest capacity at 64 gigabytes (GB) based on SLC NAND flash. Designed to deliver the latest storage technology advancements for applications that have not yet migrated to a serial interface, Virtium TuffDrive CF cards provide rugged solutions for a wide range of embedded systems that include PoS terminals, casino gaming, mobile monitoring devices, networking and industrial automation equipment. Virtium TuffDrive CF cards are offered in commercial and industrial temperature configurations and meet MIL-810 standards for shock and vibration.

Virtium's TuffDrive CF products are available now in capacities from 128 megabytes (MB) to 64 GB, in both commercial (0 degrees to 70 degrees C) and industrial (-40 degrees to 85 degrees C) operating temperatures.
