New LED Lamp Sets the Bar for Innovation and Price -- Launches on Kickstarter
LEWES, Del., May 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- A new project on Kickstarter appeared a couple weeks ago and is setting the bar for innovation and price in the LED linear lighting market. It's the Klauf light bar and it's in a class of its own. It uses remote phosphor for better color, brightness, fluidity, and lifetime of the fixture. It's very bright (435 lumens) and modular, allowing the light bar to be chained end-to-end or with jumpers. Uncommon these days is that all necessary cords and accessories are included.

The most intriguing thing about the Klauf light bar is its price point. At only $55 for the 12-inch high quality unit, it's more than 70% less expensive than linear fixtures from other quality manufacturers - fixtures without half of the light bar's technology. Many people are discovering the light bar, as it is nearly 80% funded and only half way through its campaign at Kickstarter.com.
The Klauf light bar gives Tech Lighting's Unilume product a run for its money. The Unilume has already received awards and high praise from the lighting industry. Klauf Lighting's light bar is priced at a fraction of the Unilume's price, with the same light output, a smaller and more modular footprint, and the cord is not an extra purchase. Larger under-cabinet lighting manufacturers, such as Kichler, WAC, Juno, and GE, must also take notice. Klauf Lighting has only begun being a strong competitor in the LED lighting industry.
