ROXUL Launches New Online Resource that Simplifies the Specification of Stone Wool Insulation for Commercial Projects

RSPEC(TM) Features Facts, Videos, Customized Portfolio for Architects and Specifiers

MILTON, Ontario, March 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ROXUL Inc., North America's leading manufacturer of stone wool insulation products, has launched the RSPEC(TM) online tool to offer architects and specifiers easy access to the information they need to specify insulation in commercial projects.

Created based on feedback from architects and specifiers, RSPEC (http://www.rspec.com) is an all-inclusive, on-line resource of facts, insights, videos and customized information, including:

    --  ROXUL insulation product information
    --  Individual product specifications
--  ROXUL case studies and project profiles
    --  Continuing education opportunities
    --  Technical information
--  My Stuff, a user's customized virtual portfolio
ROXUL will showcase RSPEC during the 28(th) annual RCI International Convention and Trade Show, March 16 - 17, in Orlando, in Booth 112-114.

"RSPEC has been designed with specifiers in mind, to give them all the tools they need to quickly and accurately specify stone wool for commercial projects," said ROXUL Inc. Building Envelope Segment Manager Wendy Pole.  "This is no longer just about brand awareness and fostering education, it is the start of an awakening that needs to happen in the marketplace."

A highlight of RSPEC is MyStuff, the only registration required section of the website, which allows users to create their own customized virtual portfolio of information. MyStuff automatically archives and updates technical data sheets, and enables users to save and store information tailored to their particular needs and projects.

Also, the specifications section provides ROXUL master specifications and individual product guide specifications for each of its respective commercial insulation products, and is segmented by Canada and U.S. requirements.

ROXUL stone wool insulation products serve the commercial, industrial, roofing and residential sectors throughout the North American market.
