Perseus Telecom Announces Fastest Available Microwave Service in European Financial Markets
First provider to offer market-to-market commercial wireless services in Europe; Responds to increasing demand for wireless network connectivity in high-precision-trading
LONDON, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Perseus Telecom, a leading provider of ultra-low latency, high capacity global networks, today announced its live commercial wireless service in Europe, offering ultra-low latency, high availability and reliability.
Having launched the service in October 2012, Perseus was first to provide microwave ultra-low latency services to trading firms between the two major European markets of London and Frankfurt. The Perseus wireless service is proprietary, managed and operated by Perseus Telecom and its technology partners. In response to increasing demands from a client base comprised of top trading firms, Perseus launched the wireless service to deliver lower latency for firms trading strategic parts of the market.

The Perseus microwave network offers customers the lowest round trip delays (RTDs) and top service level agreements (SLAs) in the market. The current Perseus connection between NYSE Basildon and Eurex/Deutsche Bourse Frankfurt is less than 4.6ms RTD.
Perseus customers take advantage of a fair pricing structure due to evergreen clauses that allow customers to benefit from latency enhancements without incurring additional cost. Perseus maintains a strict SLA policy and manages bandwidth to accommodate a specific number of customers at optimal service levels.
