Altai Technologies Enables Wireless Connectivity of Public Schools in Rural Areas of Venezuela Using Super WiFi Solution
HONG KONG, Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Altai Technologies Limited, a carrier-grade Super WiFi equipment supplier, today announced that it has deployed Altai A2 WiFi Access Point/Bridges to enable wireless broadband connectivity of public schools in the rural areas of Venezuela.
Funded by the Venezuela Rural Broadband Community Fund, there are over 600 schools in the rural areas of Venezuela covered by the scheme. Using VSAT as backhaul, the Altai A2s are deployed in schools for students and teachers to provide wireless access in both indoor and outdoor areas.

Phase two of this government funded project is expected to be rolled out in the second quarter of 2013.
