BBVA Compass Introduces Mobile Deposit® Feature For iPhone(TM) App
- Allows customers to deposit checks into their account with an iPhone(TM)
- Builds upon the long list of features already offered by the app
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass further expanded the reach of its mobile banking apps with the introduction of Mobile Deposit(®).
"We continually improve our mobile banking solutions to better serve our customers' needs," said Alex Carriles, executive vice president and director of Mobile Strategy and Retail Innovation at BBVA Compass. "The Mobile Deposit feature now gives our customers the option to deposit checks using the iPhone(TM) 4 or higher."
The Mobile Deposit feature adds to the list of features already available on the app, including bilingual capabilities, bill pay, account transfers, an enhanced branch locator, improved image views of paid checks, and the ability to review balances and filter transactions.
"The addition of Mobile Deposit makes our app even more useful for our customers," Carriles said.
The bank remains committed to providing applications for its customers' chosen devices. BBVA Compass currently provides mobile banking apps for iPhone(TM), iPad®, BlackBerry® Android(TM), Windows® Phone and Kindle Fire(TM) devices.
The Mobile Deposit feature will be available in the future for the iPad® and Android(TM) devices.
