New technology connects members to flybuys offers and content; rewarding members with flybuys points for online searches

AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- flybuys, the leading Australian loyalty program, owned by Coles Supermarkets, announced today that is has partnered with Yahoo7 and rewards technology leader Rakuten Loyalty to unveil a revolutionary rewards acceleration browser app for its members. The flybuys Toolbar connects members to flybuys content and exclusive offers while also rewarding members with flybuys points for their online search activity.

Members download the browser app to their computer and are instantly connected to exclusive flybuys offers, redemption deals, and their flybuys points balance, regardless of where they are on the web. When a member searches the web, they are credited with flybuys points, adding a new and engaging opportunity to earn additional flybuys points.

The flybuys Toolbar is the first-of-its-kind in the Australian market and is expected to help Coles increase the number of members in its flybuys program while also better engaging members and accelerating the pace at which they earn flybuys points.
