Inovonics To Demo Next Generation Of Wireless Security Interoperability Using PSIA Area Control Specification At ASIS
Inovonics joins technology leaders and PSIA to further the advancement of security device interoperability
LOUISVILLE, Colo., Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Inovonics (http://www.inovonics.com), the industry leader in high-performance wireless sensor networks for commercial and life safety applications, today announced it will participate in the PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) (http://www.psialliance.org/) Demo event on advanced interoperability at ASIS 2012. Inovonics will join several other technology leaders as part of the event and demonstrate early development of its area control gateway platform which can be added to any Physical Security Interoperability Alliance compliant application. As part of the demo, Inovonics will partner with leaders in physical security information management to highlight wireless intrusion and alarm interoperability with other systems in their host applications. The PSIA-sponsored event, which takes place on Sept. 11, 2012 at 3 p.m. (see details below), highlights groundbreaking use cases of system interoperability across various areas of security.
