Hello all, this is Nacho, and I'll be posting the latest gaming news here. Unfortunately, my first post is a bit of a downer. According to Slashdot Games, Microsoft announced today that they had ceased all future plans to develop sports games in their XSN Studios, laying off 76 employees. This spells the end of the "popular" NFL Fever series, among other X Box Live online-capable games, including two of my favorite games, Links 2004 and Top Spin. It looks like Peyton Manning will have to find a new game to sponsor that will sell less copies then Madden.

You can read the Slashdot article here.
