Announcement Signals Expanding Relationship with VMware

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Savvis, a CenturyLink company (NYSE: CTL) and global leader in cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions for enterprises, today announced its Savvis Symphony Virtual Private Data Center (VPDC) cloud services have achieved VMware vCloud® Powered status, illustrating to clients that the company's cloud offerings are underpinned by VMware's leading virtualization and cloud computing technology, namely VMware vSphere® and VMware vCloud Director®.

Savvis has entered the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) at the Premier level, the most prominent level within the program. Reserved for partners that have committed business resources in understanding and delivering virtual infrastructure and cloud solutions, the Premier level denotes the highest level of understanding of VMware products in the VSPP ecosystem.
