SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- V3 Systems, the industry leader in Desktop Cloud Computing (DCC), announced version 2.0 of its Desktop Cloud Orchestrator (DCO); giving desktop administrators a one-stop centralized and easy-to-use console to manage VMware virtual desktops running on V3's Desktop Cloud Computing appliances.

V3's DCO was created to give desktop administrators a simple and user-friendly way to manage key VMware vCenter, View and vSphere features--all in one centralized web-based interface.
The 2.0 version of DCO includes significant enhancements to manage desktop pool movement allowing the administrator to quickly failover pools of desktops from one V3 appliance to another in the event of an appliance malfunctioning or going offline. This new pool movement technology was built from the ground up to be optimized specifically for Windows desktop movement within V3's performance-tuned VMware environment.
