SAN DIEGO, Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Blindsgalore.com is introducing BG Kids, its original new line of window treatments for children's rooms. This collection features roller shades with an emphasis on creative designs and cordless operation. With child safety in mind, Blindsgalore is offering free cordless operation with either the slow rise system or a continuous loop clutch system. "Because these shades will be used in children's rooms, safety is a must. We want cordless operation to be available to all customers," said Chelle Walters, President of Blindsgalore.

"As a new Mom, our in-house designer, Katie championed this line because she was struggling to find stylish, child-safe shades for her son's room. BG Kids features cheerful color palettes and contemporary prints for boys and girls, along with gender-neutral patterns for shared rooms. The company will introduce seven designs and more than 30 colors, for a total of 32 different choices. Patterns include images with geometric shapes, animals, sports, vehicles, and much more.
All patterns are available in a choice of two fabrics: light filtering and blackout fabric. All shades are fully customizable with various headrail, standard and reverse roll, and motorized lift options. Additional patterns and styles will be added to the collection later this year.
