Verizon Wireless is Bringing The Power of its 4G LTE Network to McPherson, Kansas

MCPHERSON, Kan., July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless today announced it is bringing the nation's largest 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to McPherson on July 19.  With the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, customers can enjoy the best experience in wireless data usage when they use their 4G LTE wireless devices in McPherson to surf the Web, stream music and video, take advantage of thousands of applications, and stay in touch with family and friends, all with speeds up to 10 times faster than before.     

When Verizon Wireless turns on its 4G LTE network in McPherson customers who live in, or visit McPherson will have access to the nation's fastest 4G network.

Verizon Wireless customers can also take advantage of HomeFusion (SM) Broadband, which leverages the power and speed of the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network to deliver high-speed, in-home Internet access for residential broadband, particularly where Internet options are limited or are not currently available.

In real-world, fully loaded network environments, Verizon Wireless 4G LTE customers should experience average data rates of 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.
