"Moonshark was formed to connect uniquely talented artists with the best independent mobile developers to bring amazing ideas to life as mobile games," said Matt Kozlov, CEO of Moonshark. "Our mission is to keep the Moonshark pipeline full of creative, addictive titles and give talent the means to share their creativity with fans on cutting edge mobile platforms."

In partnership with Lopez, Moonshark releases its first mobile game, DancePad, a finger-dancing game for iPad that offers players 100 levels and a soundtrack featuring more than 30 top artists including: Mayer Hawthorne, Vintage Trouble, Nabiha, The Whigs, Saint Motel, Shu Sho, and many more.  Also featured are The Bangerz, best known for providing the soundtrack behind the award-winning dance crew, Jabbawockeez.  Originally conceived by Bounce House Games as an undergraduate project at the University of Southern California (USC), and later developed by Triangle Studios, DancePad is free, and available now on the App Store or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore.

"We are always looking to create new ways for artists to deliver the most engaging entertainment experiences, and thus, we created Moonshark as a vehicle through which they can develop their ideas into mobile games and apps," said Michael Yanover, Head of Business Development, CAA. "Moonshark offers amazing new opportunities for talent to connect with their fans in a whole new way."

Moonshark will roll-out its second title in partnership with premier Los Angeles-based developer Mention Mobile and YouTube superstar, Philip DeFranco (http://www.youtube.com/user/sxephil) in the coming weeks.

Moonshark is also collaborating with legendary film director, writer, and producer, John Woo, through a partnership with Woo and his production company, Tiger Hill Entertainment, to develop a yet-to-be-announced mobile game set to launch this fall.

"The collaborative development process at Moonshark has been an outstanding experience," said Woo.  "We worked with Moonshark to find just the right development team to bring these characters and concepts to life in an immersive, engaging game. The early versions of the title look absolutely amazing; I can't wait until I can share more."

Moonshark will follow the release of its first and second titles with a full catalog of addictive, original mobile apps throughout 2012 and beyond.
