Soon you'll be to buy Seagate hard drive preinstalled with Lindows. This agreement is good for people that don't want the hassle of installing an OS. And good for people who want to get into Linux.

Simply plugging in the LindowsHD and starting the computer up will auto-recognize all of the internal components in virtually all Intel-compatible computers (video card, ethernet card, sound card, etc.) with no user intervention or custom installation. This would not be possible with most other operating systems because they require installation CDs to tailor the software for each particular configuration. If you've ever changed a part in your Microsoft Windows computer and had the software nag you to go find the installation CDs before it will work again, you have witnessed what I'm talking about.
