Acentic Launches Panorama SMART Integrated IPTV Complete Solution with LG's Smart LED TVs
COLOGNE, Germany, April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Acentic, a leading supplier of broadband systems and digital interactive TV (iTV) for the hotel industry, announced today that it has launched its Panorama SMART solution integrating its SMART IPTV system and the smart LED TVs from LG. The solution leverages all services and functionality of Panorama but eliminates the need for set-top boxes hence reduces hardware and cabling reducing hardware and ongoing operating costs resulting for greater ROI from installations.
With this integration, hoteliers deliver consistent high-quality HD in-room entertainment and information services to guests and hotel staff, turning the TV set into an intuitive, interactive communication tool.
Without the cables or set-top box hardware costs, hoteliers will experience a more efficient, cost-effective installation and system maintenance. The smart LED TVs from LG with the integrated Acentic Panorama SMART software will be demonstrated in cooperation with LG Electronics during the 2012 Hotel Show in Dubai, May 15-17 following a recent installation in the region.
