New and Interactive Store Highlights Comcast's Continued Commitment to Improving the Customer Experience

First Western Washington XFINITY Store Opens on March 23

FEDERAL WAY, Wash., March 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast today announced the grand opening of its new XFINITY(TM) Store in Federal Way.  The 4,900-square-foot store is designed entirely around the needs of customers and provides Comcast customers with an opportunity to explore, learn about and interact directly with the latest XFINITY products and services.

The new store will have twice as many employees as the previous store, growing from five employees to 10.

Located at 31423 Pacific Highway South in Federal Way, the new XFINITY Store is conveniently located on a major bus route and features a 3D 65-inch flat screen TV and a comfortable seating area.  Kiosks around the store provide customers with the opportunity to experience XFINITY TV and super-fast XFINITY Internet speeds, connect with XFINITY Voice service, try out the next-generation XFINITY Home's smart home services and demo the popular XFINITY TV apps on iPads located throughout the store.

Customers can take advantage of the speed and convenience of paying their bills using express payment kiosks. Customers also will spend less time in line, because the store utilizes a queue system that gives them the freedom to roam the store and learn more about the latest XFINITY products while waiting for service.

Most importantly, for those customers who wish to speak to a Comcast representative directly, trained and knowledgeable customer service consultants are available throughout the store to answer questions and demonstrate new products.

"We're proud to offer a brand new experience for our customers where they can try out our XFINITY products and services firsthand and meet face to face with knowledgeable customer service consultants who can help them get the most out of their existing services," said Len Rozek, senior vice president of Comcast's Washington Region.  "This new store model has a more welcoming design and a friendly atmosphere as we apply the same mindset of innovation, speed and utility that our customers love about our products to our customer service."

The XFINITY Store is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 31423 Pacific Highway South (located on the Pacific Highway side of the mall, across from Barnes & Noble).  This center replaces a facility at 1414 S. 324th Street and which was 1,200 square feet.

The new store in Federal Way is the first of four new XFINITY Stores planned for 2012 in the Washington Market.  Comcast currently has 15 stores located throughout Washington.
