MTI Releases RFID ME(TM) UHF RFID Reader for Android Powered Devices: RU-827 MINI ME(TM)

MINI ME(TM) instantly converts Android Ice Cream Sandwich USB OTG host mode powered smartphones and tablets into EPC Class 1 Gen2 UHF RFID Readers

HSINCHU, Taiwan, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Microelectronics Technology Inc. (MTI), a global leader in the supply of UHF RFID readers, announces the release of MINI ME(TM)( )in the RFID ME(TM)( )product line of innovative reader solutions.  MINI ME(TM) instantly converts Android Ice Cream Sandwich USB OTG host mode powered smartphones and tablets into EPC Class 1 Gen2 UHF RFID Readers.  MINI ME(TM) allows users to read and write all EPC Class 1 Gen2 compliant tags at close range (read range up to 25 cm, actual range depends on tag and environment).  A video of MINI ME(TM) on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus using MTI RFID ME(TM) GUI can be seen at http://youtu.be/kri_Etz2a9A.
