SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Glu Mobile Inc., a leading global developer and publisher of Social Mobile games for smartphone and tablet devices announced today the launch of its new freemium, tower defense game, Samurai vs. Zombies Defense. In the game, players are challenged to assume the role of the Samurai Hero, protecting his village's sacred gate against a horde of zombies and ancient Japanese demons thirsting for its sacred powers.

Players use the Samurai Hero's unique magical abilities along with traditional weapons like the katana and bow to defend the village gate against wave after wave of enemies. As the zombies and demons attack, the Samurai Hero can summon village helpers to aid him in battle, with more powerful helpers joining the fight as the game proceeds. Through each wave of zombie attacks, players earn coins and gems, allowing them to upgrade their hero, weapons, troops and abilities.
