The EU and its member nations are now adding VAT (Value Added Tax, Sales Tax to us in the US) to all things purchased online. That means that many companies have an even lower margin of profit and might even not sell to Europe. I'm interested to hear some of the European member's thoughts on this.

The law adds a 15 percent to 25 percent levy on select Internet transactions such as software and music downloads, monthly subscriptions to an Internet service provider and on any product purchased through an online auction anywhere in the 15-member bloc of nations.
