McLane Advanced Technologies Adds Distinguished Retired General to Board of Advisors

TEMPLE, Texas, Feb. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) ? a global provider of logistics solutions, announced today that Lieutenant General (R) Mitchell H. Stevenson will join the company's Strategic Advisory Group (SAG).   In this role, he will provide guidance and direction for MAT and help expand their Department of Defense (DOD) footprint.

Lieutenant General (R) Mitchell Stevenson served 37 years as a premier Army Logistician, which culminated as the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4, Department of the Army, Washington, DC. He also served as the Commander of the Sustainment Center of Excellence and Fort Lee - Fort Lee, Virginia and as Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, U.S. Army Materiel Command, Fort Belvoir, VA.

His awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Legion of Merit with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Bronze Star Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal and Southwest Asia Service Medal. He has also been awarded the Expert Infantryman's Badge.
