Radware's ADC-VX Powers KPN's Data Center Hosting and Cloud Services With Advanced ADC Virtualization Capabilities

MAHWAH, New Jersey, February 13, 2012/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

Solution Will Support KPN's Hosting, Private and Public Cloud Environments Using Clear
Segmentation and Isolated Environments for Each of its Customers

Radware [http://www.Radware.com ] (NASDAQ: RDWR), a leading provider of application
delivery [http://www.radware.com/Products/ApplicationDelivery/default.aspx ] and
application security
[http://www.radware.com/Products/ApplicationNetworkSecurity/default.aspx ] solutions for
virtual and cloud data centers, today announced that KPN
[http://www.getronics.be/web/Home.htm ], the largest ICT service-provider in the
Netherlands, has selected Radware's ADC-VX
[http://www.radware.com/Products/ApplicationDelivery/adcvx.aspx ](TM), ADC consolidation
and virtualization platform to support KPN's growing hosting and cloud data center
services for business applications.

As it built a cloud-based solution for enterprise services, KPN wanted an application
delivery controller (ADC) solution that would deliver isolated environments and dedicated
resources for each customer to meet its customer service level agreements (SLA) along with
the agility needed to provide cloud services in a changing environment. With Radware's
ADC-VX, KPN found a unique solution that allowed it to offer such an environment to each
customer by assigning a private, dedicated virtual ADC instance per customer.

Using Radware's ADC-VX on its Alteon(R) 5412 application delivery switch, KPN is able
to host 28 different customers on one platform with complete isolation between the
customers. This industry-leading density of virtual ADC instances on a single appliance
enables the economics and the operational simplicity that a cloud provider requires.
Radware's ADC-VX solution will enable KPN to easily add more dedicated, isolated instances
with each new customer, all without the need -- or cost -- for additional hardware.

Additionally, the centralized management system of Radware ADC-VX and its dashboards
provide a real-time view of the virtual ADC instances' health and resource utilization,
resulting in a scalable solution that is simple to operate and manage that further reduces
the operational costs involved in offering ADC services for cloud service providers.

"Providing KPN with a new ADC virtualization solution is a natural fit to its virtual
and cloud data center design because it enables them to offer ADC services with a desired
cost per customer thanks to our industry-leading density of virtual ADC instances on our
devices," said Andre van Buiten, Sales Manager Netherlands, Radware. "Moreover, the ADC-VX
solution benefits from Radware's OnDemand strategy, which will allow KPN to host
additional customers just by upgrading the software license on the ADC-VX devices and
without a forklift upgrade of the hardware. Enterprises of all sizes are increasingly
looking for ways to leverage hosting and cloud services, and Radware's ability to meet
this market need by offering a cost-effective, future-proof solution is a strength that
truly sets us apart from the competition."

Powered by Radware's OnDemand Switch(R) platform, Radware ADC-VX delivers performance
superiority that ensures the best quality of experience possible for KPN customers
including faster response times for hosted applications and network availability.

Radware's ADC-VX is a key component of Radware's Virtual Application Delivery
Infrastructure - (VADI(TM)) strategy
[http://www.radware.com/Solutions/Enterprise/Virtualization/default.aspx ], which brings
the efficiency and agility of virtualization to application delivery solutions. VADI is an
architecture that transforms computing resources as well as application delivery and
virtualization services into one integrated, agile and scalable on-demand application
delivery infrastructure.
