Up until now you can only film the action away from you using extreme cameras. The Quik Pod DSLR can be used with all cameras including Go Pro and Contour and any other photo device that has a standard tripod fitting. Not limited to underwater use it is sturdy, lightweight and the perfect travel gadget to allow the photographer to be included in the action. Use underwater, on land or even while hang gliding.
Developed by Fromm Works, Inc., this invention allows the photographer to be included and properly centered in photos and videos taken during extreme sports or at gatherings. The user simply holds the extended Quik Pod DSLR with a camera attached and properly framed photos or videos are captured without anyone's assistance. The camera is activated by self-timer, video mode or optionally by remote control.
